I went on a food tour back in February and Tacombi was one of the locations. My friend and I were visiting the city to shop around before seeing a show and we ended up at this location in Nolita. From what I remember, the food was very good. I would highly recommend the fish taco and the birria taco. The Carne Asada taco was a little bit disappointing as it was dry. The corn was so good to die for I would go back just for the corn. The service was fine. They use a paper pen system where you just check off the menu items that you would like. So there was very minimal contact with the servers. Inside was so beautiful my friend and I both agreed that it no longer felt like we were in New York City. Overall, pretty good experience! Would rec to try!

I love the ambiance and decor, I truly felt like I was at a taqueria in Mexico! When you are far from your home country , it's nice that there are places like this that remind you of home. We order the guacamole and tacos: asada, pastor, and birria. My boyfriend and I both loved the asada. The pastor was good too but I thought the meet lack a little flavor. But I love they keep it traditional by adding the pineapple.

Super adorable spot - it feels very air-y with lots of natural light. Lots of seats, with some long tables as well. It's a great place to hang out - such good vibes. It's a sit down place where you mark what you want on a piece of paper. Staff are super friendly. Adobada burrito ($13) - Al pastor roasted pork burrito, Mexico City style. This was tasty - the pork was roasted nicely so it had charred taste. It wasn't too dry, but I did have to add a bit of hot sauce with each bite. It's like the size of exactly one meal. Corn ($5) - this was a little smaller than expected, but still a decent amount of corn to share between 2 people. Great flavor, not too much Mayo. I didn't try the fish tacos but my friend said they were mid so do with that what you will.
